Marking Method for Rebar Coupler

Marking method

The mark of the rebar coupler have four parts: name code, type code, parameter (strength level of rebar) code, parameter (nominal diameter of rebar) code, etc.



Name code: D is for upsetting straight thread, B is for rib rolling, G is for direct rolling, Z is for taper thread, J is for extrusion.


Type code: standard type is B, different diameter type is Y, positive and negative wire type is F, flared type is K


Main parameter (standard value of steel yield strength) code: ≤400 is 4, and ≤500 is 5


Main parameters (nominal diameter of rebar in mm) code: 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 28, 32, 36, 40, 50
